Johnson Controls Automotive Korea recognized with a top Ethics Award for 2009

ANSAN, SOUTH KOREA (November 20, 2009) – Johnson Controls Automotive Korea recently was recognized by the Korea Academy of Business Ethics (KABE) in South Korea as a leading enterprise for its outstanding ethical business management. Ki-Chan Park, chairman of KABE, presented the company with the “Most Ethical Company” Award for 2009, which salutes the most successful cases of ethical business practices in Korea.

He cited the company’s core management philosophy as a reason for the award. In addition, the work done by Johnson Controls Automotive Korea is considered by the group to be a positive model and system in a society where ethics and communication are becoming increasingly important. It also is seen as a great opportunity to share with others, including the company’s ethics education program, running a qualification approval system, building a favorable work environment through an employee involvement program, operating an employee voluntary communication committee, and creating a lively organizational culture.
