Johnson Controls Appoints Moulton as Vice President and General Manager for North American Operations

PLYMOUTH, Mich., May 24 /PRNewswire/ — John Moulton recently joined Johnson Controls and was appointed vice president and general manager, North American Operations for the company’s Automotive Experience business.

The announcement was made by Jeff Williams, Johnson Controls’ group vice president and general manager, North America. In this role, Moulton is responsible for leading the Automotive Experience manufacturing operations for the North American region, including footprint, manufacturing engineering and supply chain management.

Moulton has worked at auto supplier Robert Bosch LLC since 1978. Most recently, he served as executive vice president, Engineering and Manufacturing, Bosch North America and general manager, Diesel Systems Division, North America.

Prior to that, for six years he was president of the North America Powertrain Division at Bosch. During his career at Bosch, he also has held other leadership positions, including president of the Automotive Group; executive vice president of Manufacturing; executive vice president, Bosch Mexico; vice president, Sales and Engineering, Heavy Duty; and vice president, Charleston, South Carolina, Manufacturing. Moulton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts.
