We’re committed to having a supply chain that mirrors the diversity of the consumers who sit in our seats. That’s why we expect our suppliers to incorporate supplier diversity best practices and objectives into their own supply chain.
We encourage our supplier partners to execute supplier diversity initiatives — not just buy products and services from diverse suppliers — through our Tier 2 initiative. We measure suppliers enrolled in this initiative in two areas:
- The number of key Diverse Business Initiatives (DBIs), as outlined in our Global Supplier Standards Manual
- Their reported purchases with certified diverse-owned businesses
